We are pleased to announce the launching of a new experience called Murujan Tours which will allow guests to come and directly experience the progress of world class Permaculture projects in Malaysia.
Murujan Tours is poised to expand to a number of sites and transition areas developing all around Malaysia and eventually around the world. We are starting with our flagship project, the Taman Pertanian State Park on the east coast of Malaysia.
Guests can participate or observe directly in the activities underway on the site.

We at Murujan have seen that transformative experiences such as the Permaculture Design Certificate Course have helped give people a completely new outlook on life.
It is not merely the content but the entire experience, including the connections made with their fellow participants.
These meaningful experiences are the keys to transforming society, by impacting individuals in a powerful way.
We therefore want to recreate this experience as much as possible and offer it to as many people as we can.
We hope to accomplish this with Murujan Tours by having a continuous and more informal learning experience for people to come, enjoy, and immerse themselves in burgeoning Permaculture environments around Malaysia.
Projects and sites where people are applying Pemaculture Design are springing up all over the world and we have witnessed the start of a number of new projects right here in Malaysia.
These projects need people and people are extremely interested to either join or visit these projects. We at Murujan want to help make these connections.
We at Murujan realize that people and how they interact are the most critical element in applying Permaculture Design. As Bill Mollison said, Invisible Structures are half of Permaculture.
Volunteers tend to the chickens each day, releasing them in the morning, moving the tractor and collecting fresh eggs
The site is large and has many interesting areas to explore including lakes and some sections with wild rain forest still intact, expansion of the natural rain forest is one of the main goals of the project.
Various monoculture orchards are already present including Durian, Rambutan, Star fruit among others and they will eventually be transitioned into more polycultural states as the project goes on.
Participants creating compost. The site aims to develop a full scale commercial composting system in 2017.
The site is a vehicle for people to reconnect to a more productive and wholesome way of life that is working with nature rather than against it.
